Atheists, why do people concern themselves more with a fetus and abortion than they do stopping animal cruelty?
So if the animals are more important than humans, are you saying we should euthanize a human when they are too ill to have a full and happy life or become an inconvenience? When we decided that a baby had no right to live because it wasn't wanted, how long until our grandparents are next... or maybe the elderly who have no family, or the handicapped? Where does it stop? When God gave us dominion over the animals He also gave us the ability to feel compassion for them and fully expects us to protect them (with common sense). But to put an animal above a human is asinine. I fear people have become so "intelligent" we've lost our common sense. Where do you get the idea that a fetus (baby) can not feel pain? We've become a "throw-away" society. If it's not wanted, of no use any longer, or an inconvenience, just throw it away. How sad. Yes, I'm a Christian but felt the same long before.
