being that abortion is legal and we actively begin wars like it's a yearly tradition makes this a moot point. nobody even knows where "their" tax dollars go, they only know who collects them. you can lobby against going to war just as pro-lifers lobby to make abortion illegal... neither has succeeded yet

I have an average body type and i've decided to do P90X to get in shape over the summer. Why do some married people spend so much time online?

I'm married, me and the wife have a computer, and laptops, but, they are turning into dust collectors! We rarely use it,maybe look up travel plans,weekend activities, etc... I think other people use it, because it's ( computer) like a drug and becomes habit forming. Problems with my moms boyfriend?

Okay so my moms boyfriend moved in with us about a month ago. Im 14, so I still have to live with my mom... Anyways everything was fine until he started cooking dinner for us all the time, and he would always make the oven messy and he would never wash out the food in the dish before he put it in the sink. One of my jobs is to clean the kitchen every night and wash the dishes. I asked my whole family if they would please rinse out there dishes because it makes my job a whole lot easier and quicker. The dishes still always had food in them, so I specifically asked him to rinse out his dishes, so the drainer would catch it and he told me " I cant rinse them out and cook at the same time." Im getting so tired of wasteing 10 minutes just washing food out of dishes that he cant take 5 seconds to do himself. And also spending 5 minutes washing the oven and the counter. I mean I dont except them to be crystal clear when I wash them, because part of the job is to actually wash the dishes.. But he doesnt get that it would help a lot if he did it, and I have other stuff I have to do also so it takes up an hour of my night... My mom told me to just ask him if he would but I did, 3 times, and I even put up a sign, to remind him. Also, im not the only one fed up with his sloppy ways. Im tired of having to clean everthing, just to have him dirty it up the next day. So does anyone know how I can ask him to wash out his dishes and simply clean up after himself?

Dog does not eat by his own?

I have a male Cocker spaniel, he is 1.4 years old. For first 6-8 month I feed him with my hands as everybody does. Then I started with keep food in bowl. He was eating from bowl but now he hasn't been eating properly for the past few weeks, he refuses to eat his normal food (pedigree) so we've been cooking eggs\cheese etc. Then after a while he doesn't eat himself unless we feed him by hands.  He doesn't seem to have the energy when he doesn’t have food. How to/If I should tell him I'm pregnant?

I'm 27 and have been living with my boyfriend for about one year. I just found out I am pregnant, while he is on vacation until next week. In past conversations he has expressed his feelings for not ever having kids, and his fear that I may be trying to get pregnant, which I have always assured him that I actually don't want to get pregnant any more than he does, apart from having my own reasons (huge student loan debt, desire to pursue a grad school education, having just got my life together in the last few years). Anyway, the reason I went off birth control three to four months ago is because I was unemployed, we were moving apartments in a very expensive city, and I didn't believe I could afford it. Also, the prescription I had been renewing was out of refills months ago, and I wasn't sure it was even legal for me to keep refilling it. I lost my health insurance during my last semester at school, as I was one credit too short to have the plan. Since graduating in December, I have not tried to get new health insurance, and thus have waited to get back on birth control, until the obvious just recently happened. I do not believe my boyfriend and I are really in love, and I'm really not financially stable enough to consider having a child right now. I care so much about my boyfriend, and I believe that we will agree on what to do, but I must say that I am so humiliated and mortified that the one thing we both didn't want has happened. I honestly hoped to have the abortion this weekend so it would be over with by the time I told him (unless I healed and opted to just NOT tell him, out of my own fear- I admit), but today the doc said he couldn't do the procedure because I am barely over a week along, and so I have to wait two weeks. Now I can't decide how to tell my boyfriend, or if I shouldn't. I do know that he is adamant about not having kids, and I am not ready either. I am also just humiliated and afraid that he will resent me, not be able to handle the stress of this occasion, and become completely alienated from me. I don't foresee him trying to leave as finding a place to live elsewhere would be extremely difficult for him and for me, but I fear he will stay and treat me badly for making the one thing he didn't want to happen happen. I know he has a responsibility in all this too, and some part of the decision, but I just feel that if we both want to abort, perhaps I could save our relationship a ton of stress if I didn't tell him and did it on my own. Many of my friends think I should break up with him anyway, not tell him, and go through with the abortion on my own. I can't imagine having to pay double my rent in less than 2 weeks, pay for an abortion, break up with my boyfriend, and start life out alone all at once. I'm seriously just feeling mortified and scared that our relationship won't survive this, because we're not in love. If I were I'd speak with my doctor immediately to weigh the pros and cons by yourself, then include your family when you feel you have reached the right decision. In the end it is YOUR decision. okay so im 13, 5'4 115 lb. i have bad eating habits and i was wandering if its just a crash diet or like anorexia. so days that my parents arnt home and stuff i usually dont eat anything at all. just water or 0 calorie drinks. when my mom cooks dinner i just say i already ate and im not hungry. but when we go out to dinner like at a restaurant i usually eat a normal amount. because i dont want my parents thinking im not eating enough. and then just try to burn as much as i can off by running down our street or doing exercise videos. i am very insecure with the way i look...i always feel fatter then everyone else. even though i weight the same as most of my friends. if i eat anything i will start to freek out and ill just start running around to try and burn it off. losing weight is like on my mind 24/7. i also have an anxiety problem. so some nites i dont even sleep because im freeking out about how i look. i havnt really lost any weight.....but ive only been doing this for about 2 weeks. and when it comes to how many calories i eat in a day...every day is different. it could be 0 one day and 800 the next. i obsess about calories alot....if the box even says 0 on it, ill go back and check at least 4 times....i dont know why i do that though. and the longest ive gone without eating anything was 2 days i think. so ya i was just wondering if you guys think its just a regular crash diet or an eating disorder. i know im not underweight, so thats why i wasnt sure. (&when i dont eat for 2 days i usually go down to about 110lb). any answers would be a big help(:

I work for a family member (by marriage not blood) and i babysit his 9 year old daughter. I dont work on a certain schedule. Mon-thurs i work 4pm - midnight and some days i work 8am-2pm and then in the afternoon. He didnt have me scheduled to work memorial day and then called me 3 hours before he needed me and asked if i could come in i worked all day tuesday and then wed an thurs afternoon. I got $50 for that week. The following week i worked the same days same hours and only got $40 ive only worked those two weeks so far but he also doesnt leave money for any errands he needs. Dylan, U$2,500 seems a little steep for hotel + flight. Air travel to Brazil is quite expensive, however the hotels in our “nordeste” you can def. get a good deal. Fortaleza is awesome, but depending on the purpose of your trip I recommend some of the neighboring beaches like Cumbuco or Jericoacoara (which is one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil!). There you can get hotels for like R$120 a night, which in today’s rate exchange is like U$75 a night. For two weeks that would be U$525 per person. These good deal hotels normally wont have a kitchen, they are simpler and called “pousadas”, look for this name when searching. They do include breakfast however, but I recommend looking for the local food restaurants with “picanha” or “feijoada” which are excellent (and cheap) local meals. Those spare embryos are considered property. They can be stored/destroyed/used for research or donated to other couples. Pro-lifers find most of these points offensive. They're comfortable with natural loss of embryos which happens in a significant number of pregnancies - they can't not be, there's nothing we can do to prevent it - but planned destruction of what, to them, qualifies as life is intolerable. It depends on when you think life begins - if it starts at conception, then planned use of zygotes with no intention to attempt to save the potential fetus is clearly immoral. I'm not sure when life begins and I'm a doctor. Legally we're in a bit of a spot also as we're much better at saving lives of premature fetuses - can even maintain life at gestation age below the legal cut-off for abortion. The issue is - what qualifies as human life? When does a bundle of cells deserve the same rights we expect for ourselves? Hope this helps you see their perspective.

The only additional program I think we should have would be one which provided free birth control pills and condoms or tying a woman's tubes after having two illegitimate children. That would certainly cost less than abortions and monthly welfare benefits. Aside from that, no - we don't need any more programs than we already have. In fact, I think there should be a cap to the welfare benefit by not paying for more than two illegitimate children.

Im starting off by saying not all SAHM'S are, but lately I swear I am getting into it with every SAHM I meet! Im told that I have it easier cause I work and go to school and don't stay at home all day. That SAM'S have it harder cause they are a nurse, psychologist, cook etc. Just because I work and have s hool does not mean when I get home I don't cook, clean or take care of my baby. All good moms take care of their kids regardless if they work or not. Sorry, but being a SAHM does not make you a licensed RN, a trained chief etc. You are just a SAHM, just like I am a working mom. I chose to do school because I need to be able to support my family if something happens to my husband. Once I finish school I will likely only work part time to spend more time at home with my kids. Oh my, I believe that once you are 16 the choice is yours. But regardless, if you tell your advocate about the abuse (and can offer up evidence, especially) then he can not and will not see you again. Explain to your advocate why you are uncomfortable living with him, please. I think telling your mother (are you close to her?) might be very helpful as well, seeing as she will know more about the legal system as an adult. I know it can be very difficult to talk about these things... but it will only get better if you do, and that way you can find resources to help you heal. After this is all over with, I would highly recommend therapy. If you go, explain that you do not feel you have a disorder (unless you do), but that you have experienced a great deal of hurt and feel expressing it and learning how to cope with it will benefit you. BUT THEN his freakin mother hasn't even paid "on her own" till this day! I drive a gas gussling car, I'm not even making a profit here. I drive his mother and her two friends to work every day. About ten miles to get there at FREAKIN 7 am in the damn morning and then I pick them up at 4pm in the afternoon. Thats twenty miles. Then on top of that she asked me to take her son to school and then pick him up in the afternoon too, another 5 miles. Then I have to take my fiance to his friends house everyday at 5am as well so that they can drive to work (he works an hour away). The friend lives about 15 miles away. As you can imagine, making all these trips and BACK every damn day in a car that isn't great with gas isn't good for the gas tank, especially with this ridiculously rising gas prices, and this is on the daily! I supposedly get paid every WEEK! My problem is the mother doesn't pay and everyday I'm stressin out because we don't have gas in the damn car and I can't do wtf I need to do because I'm so busy over extending myself and bending over backwards for these people, WHEN SHE AINT PAYIN. My fiance has to go ask for money, he calls it "borrowing" and im like dude she owes us more than, go ask her for the money that she owes for me taking her to work, and taking her son to school! I'm married, me and the wife have a computer, and laptops, but, they are turning into dust collectors! We rarely use it,maybe look up travel plans,weekend activities, etc... Cooking chicken breast-it shrinks and becomes rubbery!?

I am good at so many different techniques as far as cooking yet I seem to have trouble with chicken breasts. Why do some pro-lifers say that abortion is okay if the baby was the product of rape, but not for another reason. Current girlfriend hanging with ex girlfriend?

My girlfriend and i have been together for over 2 years now and we also live together. She has a wonderful son who's almost 3. My problem is we also live with her ex girlfriend for over 2 years. I understand that they has this child together and they both want to have him in their lives and im not asking for that to change. It sounds awful I know, but my 84yr old mother has bad arthritis and because she is in pain,she has stopped taking care of herself.
