I don't believe that Jesus wants me to kill people so I can't be a Muslim can I?

Muslims say that Jesus was a Muslim as were all the prophets and yet their final messenger advocated killing people, taking slaves and robbing others. Does this mean that I am a bad Christian because I believe in what seems to be a corrupted message of loving my enemies, not stealing and helping others always?
